Every year around August the Australian Ceramics Association holds a National Open Studio Weekend. It is a weekend when professional ceramists around the country invite interested members of the public to visit their studios, see what’s being made, ask questions and maybe buy a unique piece of work.

Each year, as a lead up to the National Open Studio Weekend, a series of four hand-building/low fire techniques workshops are held at Jenny Mulcahy’s Gustav Creek Studio which conclude with on-going Raku firings over the Open Studio’s weekend.
